(no subject)

...why has there been so much talk on capturing and eating Unicorns lately...

The first thing humans do when confronted with an animal they have never encountered before is try to figure out the best way to eat it.

[identity profile] voicesofspirits.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
...instead of maybe trying to befriend it and discover more about it?
I...just don't like the talk of it... that's all.

[identity profile] rescuecatnaoma.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
That too, but usually eating comes first.

Yeah people jump a little too fast to eating neat new animals.

I wouldn't worry too much. My older brother cried during Bambi.

And Homeward Bound.

and Milo and Otis.

And when reading We3.

So he's probably just bored.

...I think the crazy purple lady means it though.

[identity profile] voicesofspirits.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it really does look like she means it...
I'm not going to let her hurt any if I'm around though.

Yeaaah, probably best you keep Sunlight Unicorn outta sight for a while, even around Sakana.

Yeah...
...I just think the first thing people should be thinking about is learning more about the spirits... not eating them.

I know, I know.
If anyone tries to harm Sunlight, I'll stop them.

Luckily I don't think Isabel wants to eat one...at least. Just to ride one for some reason.

Thank you, Juudai-san.

Yes, I saw. I was going to offer to let her ride Sunlight, if she wanted to, but when I saw others talking about eating them... I decided not to.

Hmmm... hey, if we get the chance, maybe we should offer to let her ride Sunlight as maybe a present for Christmas or something? If she doesn't find her own before then I guess!
We'd just have to find a place where Sunlight would be out of sight from anyone who'd want to eat her...

...I think that's a nice idea. I'm sure Sunlight wouldn't mind.

We'll see how things go then!

Okay!

[identity profile] sees-the-sea.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I DUNNO MAN, THEY'RE ALL FREAKS.

[identity profile] voicesofspirits.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I really hope they don't find any. Unicorns are amazing creatures, they shouldn't be eaten.

[identity profile] sees-the-sea.livejournal.com 2009-11-28 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
I know, right?! That's what I said and they're all 'ooooh it tastes like Fillet Mignon!'

Freaks.

[identity profile] voicesofspirits.livejournal.com 2009-11-28 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad we think the same.
I really don't want to let them harm any.

[identity profile] shooting-sonic.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
.....capturing and eating unicorns?

[identity profile] voicesofspirits.livejournal.com 2009-11-27 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Jinn-san and Niyo-san keep mentioning it.

[identity profile] shooting-sonic.livejournal.com 2009-11-28 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
I guess they would exist in this world now...

...why eating them, though?

[identity profile] voicesofspirits.livejournal.com 2009-11-28 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
...I guess they just don't respect a unicorn for it's beauty.
