EVENT 1 (Dream Event)

*It's a peaceful, beautiful day in the Duel Monster spirit world. In a field of flowers, Ruka is sat playing with a bunch of smaller Duel Spirits, Kuribon included, as Ancient Fairy Dragon watches over them happily. It seemed like nothing could ruin such a happy day.
But as Ruka looks over the valley, she spots something that seemed to be coming towards them. A great big shadow seemed to be overcoming the land and destroying everything in it's path.
In a panic, Ruka, Ancient Fairy and the other duel spirits began to flee from the on coming danger, but it seemed like no matter how fast they were, the shadow was gaining on them quickly. It soon hit a few of the smaller, younger duel spirits that were lagging behind, instantly making them explode into dust. Ruka stops and screams out for them, but knows it's too late to do anything to help... the shadow soon reaches her and knowing she could never out run it, she just squeals and covers her eyes. She feels a sudden rush by her and opens her eyes to see Ancient Fairy and Kuribon had moved in front of her in an effort to protect her... but the shadow was too strong for them to hold back... they were fading away.
Both the monsters give Ruka a sorry look, as if apologizing for not being able to keep it back. Ruka tries to reach out for them, in the hope to somehow save them, but as soon as her hand reaches them, they explode into dust completely and the shadow washes over Ruka...

Opening her eyes, she looks around her. The once beautiful valley and beyond were now devoid of life, she was the only one left.
Falling to her knees, tears welling up in her eyes, Ruka felt like she had failed her spirit friends and the world they lived in. Everything happened so suddenly. She had promised to protect this world and... there was simply nothing she could do.

Putting her hands to her head, with the tears now falling from her face, Ruka let out a loud cry of frustration that simply echoed over the deserted land.*

EVENT 2 (For Sakana residents)

*After waking from her nightmare, Ruka is confused and thinks the spirit world and it's residents really have been destroyed. If you live in the same apartment as her, you may of heard her scream as she woke up, or alternately she maybe walking around the apartment looking very upset and dazed.
If you live in the other apartments in Sakana, after waking up, she may of walked out into the courtyard in her confusion. Again she looks very dazed and upset.*

Cain watches Ruka wander around the courtyard for a moment, before standing up and walking to her.

"...Ruka, are you alright?"

*Ruka stops walking and looks up at Cain. Her eyes seemed rather glazed over at first, she seems to be still half asleep. Eventually she responds to Cain by shaking her head for a "no."*

...they're all gone.

"..What. What's all gone, Ruka?"

...the spirits. Their world. All gone.

*Ruka falls to her knees, as if losing the will to let them support her. Her eyes seem to have more life in them now as she gradually wakes up more*

I couldn't do anything, I couldn't do anything, I couldn't---

*As she repeats those words, tears start streaming down her face. Eventually, she just simply covers her face with her hands and breaks down into full sobs*

Cain's eyes widen in shock, as he tries to think of something to say. Failing at that, he just kneels next to her and tries to comfort her the best he can.

*As you try and comfort her, you eventually here another voice*

Kuriibiii...

*To the side is Kuribon, who's now beside the two of them. It's looking at Ruka, it seems to be worried for her. It then looks up at Cain and appears to shake it's head (Well, the best a Kuribon can anyway) in an effort to tell him that Ruka is wrong*

*Step, step, step.

Some footsteps from a guy come closer, as they look down at you, Ruka.

They're... Kinda frowning. Admittedly, I think only someone completely heartless could not be bothered by a young girl crying out like that.*

*Ruka hears the footsteps. She seems scared at first, but eventually manages to look up to see who is approaching. She rubs her eyes to clear the tears from it, trying to get a clearer look*

...who are you...?

*... he at least tries to not look as sad as he was, forcing himself to stop with that. But he does at least look a bit concerned.*

... Sanshi's m' name. ... What 'appened here, kid?

*Ruka looks away*

I---I don't know... everything was okay, but then there was this shadow that came towards us. It destroyed everything... it destroyed the spirits who live here...
*She sobs a little*
... nothing could stop it... I couldn't stop it. Now they're all gone.

... A shadow? Th' spirits who live 'ere...? *Oh geeze, now you're sobbing here. He kneels down a bit so he's more at your height on the ground*

Are y'sure it destroyed... Everythin'?

There's nothing left. This used to be a valley with fields of flowers. Everything that was alive is gone.
Except me... the only one it left alone was me.

... Why, though?

I-- I don't know...

*... he keeps making a motion like he thinks he should try to comfort you a bit better, but he keeps rethinking it, as well*

... Well, obviously not everythin' was destroyed, if you an' I are 'ere.

Cain watches Kuriibii.

"..Ruka, are you sure? Maybe you're mistaken."

*Ruka eventually calms down a little. She stays silent for a few minutes before she wipes her eyes and slowly starts getting to her feet, although she seems a little unstable on her legs at first*

*Ruka looks up at Cain with a slight questioning look, she then notices Kuribon beside them*

K-Kuribon...? But you were...

*She then looks around her, as if only just realizing where she is. She's no longer crying, but now she just looks very confused and disorintated*

*Gets up, trying to figure if he should help her or not? This kind of stuff is lost on him.*

Oi, y'good t' walk?

*Luckily, she does manage to stabilize herself, before she gives a small nod*

Yes. I think so.

*She looks up and over the land before them again.*

It destroyed everything that was living. The spirits, the trees, grass and flowers... but it left us...

*It seems like she's concentrating more on trying to figure things out now*

It seems kinda like it was all-encompassin'... But are y'sure it's all dead? Some things can be pretty weird when it comes t' unnatural situations like this.

If somethin' is gonna bother with killin' th' land, too, it ain't really gonna pass over folks who walk 'round an' talk.

*Ruka walks over to a nearby (dead) looking tree and puts her hand on it, as if trying to tell if maybe it had some life in it.
After a few seconds, it seem to quiver. Ruka's eyes light up...! That is, until the tree seems to develop a rather ferocious looking face on it, similar to Woodmon but much more scary.
The tree lets out a roar which makes Ruka shriek and jump back*

*OH JESUS CHRIST WHAT he gets in front of her to shield her if the thing goes after them, staring at whatever the hell it is*

That sure looks alive t' me, y'know!

It's a bit TOO alive.

*Tree is now trying to swat at them with it's branches*

*holds out his arm, moving back so Ruka gets lead back as well*

'll take it that it don't usually act like that, either.
