Event Post

*For months, Ruka had run through in her head of what she'd do if she came face-to-face with the Crimson Dragon again. She'd gone though every statement, every argument and every question thousands of times over.
But when she was actually stood in front of it, she froze. All the planning refused to make sense and she could barely recall any of it. She felt terrified of letting the dragon know exactly how she felt about the situation it had pulled her and her brother into. Pulling them away from their family back in their own timeline, to make them grow up and make lives in the current one without ever saying why they were really sent there. What if one day they had to choose between the two? What if they didn't get to choose at all? Even choosing would be an incredibly difficult thing to do.
The Crimson Dragon silently stared Ruka down, as if waiting for her to say something, but as time passed without a word, the dragon seemed to grow impatient and let out a shrill cry before it started to fly away.
Ruka wanted to call out to it, but the words weren't able to leave her mouth.
It was then that the area filled with a sudden flash of red light...

Ruka woke with a start in her bedroom in the Sakana apartments. Sitting up, she took a moment to let the familiar look of the room sink in, before she breathed a sigh of relief.
"...it was just a dream...".
She looked over at her brother's bed on the other side of the room, making sure she didn't wake him up, but she was surprised to see that his bed was empty. Looking over at the clock beside her bed, it read that it was just past 7am.
This was puzzling to Ruka, it was rare for her brother to be up this early at the weekend. Actually, it was rare for him to be up at this time any day of the week.
"Maybe he went to help Yuusei with something..."

After getting dressed, Ruka wandered through the apartment, gradually checking the rooms, but it seemed like no-one was around at all. Where could they all be at this time in the morning? They wouldn't of gone somewhere without telling her...
Though there was no indication anyone had gone anywhere. Shoes were still in the hallway and everyone's apartment keys were still hung up on the wall near the door.

Opening the door, Ruka stepped out into the courtyard and ran around to the garage. Surely if no-one was in the apartment, they might just be in the garage, maybe to watch something Yuusei was working on.
"Yuuse---"
Ruka stopped dead as she ran into the garage, only to see the area where her friends D-Wheels were usually parked to be completely empty.

Ruka walked slowly back into the courtyard, not knowing what to do. Her friends had to be somewhere, right? But where would they be if it looked like they never left the apartment? Her thoughts wandered to the strange dream involving the Crimson Dragon, but she shook her head, to try and shake those thoughts away.
It couldn't of taken her brother and the others away? Not without her? And not without so much as a warning... right?

Maybe one of the other residents at the apartment knows where they went, but with it being so early, she didn't want to wake up anyone who's sleeping to ask.

Though maybe you are up this early for some reason and you see Ruka standing in the courtyard, looking confused and slightly upset.
Maybe what woke you up was the really odd flash of red light that filled the area, just before 7am and you came out to investigate what it was.

Either way, she looks like she needs to someone to talk too.*

*well, Suguru's still living in Sakana, and it might not be odd that she's up early for having breakfast before work and all, so she'll at least notice that the blue-haired girl she might've seen around sometimes before is standing out of the courtyard after leaving her place, looking upset.

She goes up to her*

Hey, uh... Is something the matter?

*Ruka looks up and seems glad to see someone about.*

Suguru-san... right?

Have you seen my brother, as well as Yuusei and the others about this morning at all?

*nods a bit at the name, but then looks confused. Yuusei is that guy from 5D's, right? ... Oh, yeah, he was involved with that stuff with Izayoi and Isabel...*

Those guys... No, I haven't seen any of them. Why, are they missing or something?

*The expression on Ruka's face changes to a sombre one.*

Yes... I woke up but none of them are in the apartment and their D-Wheels are missing, but it honestly looks like they never left the apartment at all...

*looks a bit surprised*

Really? But that's... Really weird. I wonder if something happened to them...?

*she rubs her head a bit, uncertain. It's suspicious that a bunch of people are just missing, and it's far too early in the morning to think that they just. Left.*

*Ruka, on the other hand, suddenly looks a little more horrified.*

It couldn't be... It really couldn't of taken them... could it...?

*Obviously becoming slightly more panicked, Ruka looks around the courtyard, as if looking for something, ANYTHING, that would prove her wrong.*

*oh geeze oh geeze*

It? What "it"? Do you have an idea on what might've happened?

The Crimson Dragon!! The thing that brought us here originally! It couldn't of just taken the others and left me behind. It couldn't of taken Rua away from me! It couldn't...

*She is pretty much on the verge of tears at this point.*

*ooooh geeze I don't know the details about your thing I am not going to be of help here oh god I don't want a girl crying noooo*

... M-maybe something happened and they left for a while. Here, why don't we see if like. Isabel or Juudai are around, maybe they can help you find them, too.

*Ruka nods, trying to fight back tears. She knows Suguru would know little to nothing about the Crimson Dragon*

Y-yeah. They might be able to help.

*Though Ruka was starting to doubt any other reason than her own. If they had left for some reason, even if they didn't want to wake her, they would of at least left a note...*

*Suguru is pretty much thinking that too but. she really doesn't want her to start crying cause that's pretty cruel.

let's go knock on Juudai's door though and probably wake him up*

*And waking him up is certainly what you do! He answers the door after a few moments, looking incredibly groggy. He blinks a few times, before his mind clears and it registers who is at the door.*

Ruka? ...Suguru?
...Is something wrong?

*This was an odd combination of people knocking on his door at 7am in the morning, after all!*

*she nods slightly. she'd feel bad waking you up but this seems important*

Umm, yeah... Apparently, a lot of people are kinda just missing. Like Fudo, and Ruka's brother.

Cain is already well awake, so he does go to investigate!

Cain-san!

*She runs over to him, looking a bit panicked.*

Have you seen my brother around? Or Yuusei and the others?

Cain thinks.

"No, I can't say I've seen any of them this morning."

*She looks very downcast at that.*

I can't find any of them anywhere. Their D-Wheels are gone from the garage, but I can't see any evidence they even left the apartment.

"..How could that be?"

I don't know! I just woke up and none of them are in the apartment.

Are you sure you haven't seen any of them? Or anything that could explain where they might be?

He shakes his head.

"I haven't seen anything that can explain it, I'm afraid."

*Ruka looks devastated. She then lowers her head so she's looking at the ground.*

...maybe that dream I had before I woke up wasn't a dream after all...

"Dream?"

I dreamt about the Crimson Dragon. It seemed to be waiting for something, but then it just flew off before there was this flash of red light, then I woke up.

But, it really couldn't of...

*She seems to trail off at the last bit.*

"..You think it took them?"

*Ruka's eyes tear up as she nods slowly in response.*

But why would it take them and not me? Why would it split Rua and I up!? He's always the one that's there for me and the one who helps protect me. What am I going to do if he's really been taken away!?

Is the Crimson Dragon punishing me...?
